Our sturdy Telescoping Ladder extends to a full 12-1/2 ft when in use, yet conveniently collapse to an amazingly compact 34 x 20 x 2-1/2″ to easily fit in a closet, under a bed or in the trunk of your car. We chose it, instead of their competition, because of their robust strength and ease of use. Their “EN-131 European rating” conforms (conservatively) to a USA 250 lb. Duty Rating for weight capacity. The ladder is constructed of 6063 alloy aluminum with 9 self-locking treads that are 12″ wide and feature innovative flip-down Finger Safety Guards – a welcome improvement over all other models that we tested.
It has a uniform 12″ distance between treads when fully extended. Overall weight is 20 lbs. The optional nylon storage/carry cases with handle are recommended.
