This dual-purpose, open-pollinated pumpkin variety produces handsome pumpkins, up to 100 lbs. or more. The fruits have a very attractive bright orange rind and fine-grained, bright orange flesh. Unlike some other giant pumpkin varieties, the Big Max Pumpkins tend to have typical, rounded pumpkin shape, or they might be slightly flattened.
